Pure Infinty is building the first BONCUS on full scale at Altacel in Weesp. Altacel is a typical flexographic company located close to Amsterdam in the Netherlands. This BONCUS installation can serve as a demonstration unit for the whole of the flexo industry. Pure Infinity is more than happy to invite you to our plant and show you the benefits for the flexo industry.
The core of the BONCUS consist of recovering the solvents from the waste air emission in such a way that the emission is sufficiently cleaned according to the latest EU solvent emission legislation. Subsequently the BONCUS is converting the solvents into biomethane that has the same quality as natural gas. The biogas can therefore be used directly in the factory, saving considerable on the gas-bill of the factory. The biogas is fully green and therefore the CO2 footprint will be significantly reduced. At Altacel the BONCUS creates enough biogas to fully replace the current natural gas consumption, meaning that the heating of the drying air at the flexo printers will be fully CO2 neutral! Please contact us to keep updated on this project, and let us know if you would like to visit the BONCUS and see for yourself.
